Joining a Lab

Graduate Students
Graduate students interested in joining a lab in the Department of Systems Biology must first be accepted into a Harvard graduate program. In addition to the Systems Biology PhD Program, there are many other programs that offer the option of joining a Systems Biology lab. Students in any of the following programs can join one of our labs:

Harvard/MIT MD-PhD Program

Harvard Integrated Life Sciences (HILS) is an umbrella organization that includes 13 life science graduate programs. Students from the following HILS programs are currently working in the Department:

Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) graduate programs. SEAS offers degrees in four subjects: 

  • Applied Mathematics
  • Applied Physics
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering Sciences

Postdoctoral Fellows
Researchers interested in applying for postdoctoral fellowships should apply through specific Systems Biology lab websites. Links to these websites can be found in our faculty listing.
