Monday Seminar Series

Our weekly series occurs every Monday (excluding holidays and University closures) and features exciting talks from speakers around the world and right here in our own department backyard.

Systems Seminar Series

Our seminar series is intended to highlight the research of leaders and pioneers in the fields of systems, synthetic, and quantitative biology. Our format is a ~50 minute traditional presentation followed by 10-15 minutes for questions at the end of each talk.

Trainee Talks Series

Our internal speaker series which allows trainees in the department an opportunity to deliver their cutting edge research and receive friendly feedback from their peers and department leadership Our format are two speakers per session giving a ~20 minute traditional presentation followed by Q&A for each trainee.

    Katie Galloway

    Katie Galloway is an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Her lab focuses on developing integrated gene circuits and elucidating the systems-level principles that govern complex cellular behaviors. Her team leverages synthetic biology to transform how we understand cellular transitions and engineer cellular therapies.
